Purely to get around the problems you're trying to raise.
The questions are graded according to the percentage of correct answers over time and the alternative question sets are at the same level of difficulty. Over the month any discrepancies average themselves out
BTW, it would be easier to go down to the local internet cafe

Well. Bravo everyone, that was a very different month with a dozen players showing up. I quite like it that eleven of those twelve had a top score at least once, too. I'm not sure where Bryn got to this weekend, if he'd played those two days he'd quite likely have had the top monthly score.
It's an annoying misassemblage of questions, they're often off topic and they're invariably trivial!

7. What would be the aorist of a stem that ends in a labial stop, like pi, beta, or phi? What is the correct first aorist of "graphO," "write"?
Your Answer: egrase
The correct answer was egrapse.
The stem is graph- To form the aorist, add a sigma and a weak aorist personal ending. A labial stop plus a sigma gives a psi. Hence, "egrapse."
An example of a question that I didnt understand then and still dont. I understood the answer even less.
I post it for the purpose of ridicule. Throw your rottenest tomato at it and hard !

May I add a singularly pig-ignorant piece of Americana?1. What rank is represented by a single chevron?
Your Answer: Lance Corporal
The correct answer was Private.
A single chevron siginfies a private (Able Seaman in the Navy). Privates used to be called Lance Corporals. Recruits and Cadets have no insignia.
Speaking as an ex Lance Corporal with a single chevron, I take umbrage.

Well he should. The chevron denotes the first elevation in rank and shows an ability to lead a small group of soldiers. It cant be called a private in anyones language, even if the US choose to. Trust them to be different to everyone else

It's to make them 'Feel' better.
The powers that be didn't want to give them a wage rise so gave them a rank instead, it either elevates everybody above them.......or more likely, devalues the ranking system.
Kind of a pointless exercise really.

Actually that answer (as far as "Americana" is concerned) was wrong, A Private has no chevron in either the US Army, or Marines.
The First Chevron is earned with the rank of PFC (Private First Class)
In the US Military Only the Marine Corps uses Lance Corporal, it is a single Chevron with the Crossed Rifles underneath.
I believe the British Army Lance Corporal is equivalent to the PFC in US.

We still have to put up with drivel like this
General: 10 Question Average Quizzes: Things Found In and About Belly Buttons
6. You notice that you have crumbs in your belly button...but gee whiz, how did it get there?
All of these.
While sleep walking you took a trip to the refrigerator.
While sleeping with a bag of chips next to you.
While eating.

A different question set is generated roughly every ten minutes. If you do the quiz very close in time to someone else then you may well get the same questions, before the next set is randomly picked.

September ended in a long-drawn-out draw, with only three or four players contending and thus making changes to the table rather hard work.
If everyone piles in, today being the first of October, we might have a more fluid launch. Today appears to be Literature.
For those who have forgotten, FG Trivia is designed to be annoying, aggravating, frustrating and (sadly perhaps but it's how some of us are designed) competitive. The only good thing about it is that it takes a mere two minutes a day to remember, click a bookmark and fill in the multiple-choice page.

I have absolutely no idea how to set up a new game, I was probably sampling whiskey when I did the original. I would also bet money that you have a higher proportion of 10-scores than anyone else in there, when you show up.
Did you just see theia's impersonation of Super Mario, flying into the lead at the beginning of lap 1?
