I watched a movie, then took my bath and shower...got my sleep study tonight...can't have hairy beast legs for that! I don't leave til about 9, but my hair takes forever to dry and I don't believe in hairdryers. :wah::wah:

Done with the sleep thing. Had a hard time at first cuz the first mask just wouldn't stay in place and was driving me insane. The second mask was much better, still didn't sleep good tho cuz everytime I moved the wires would start pulling. Can you believe, 27 wires, 2 straps and the mask. Not easy to sleep...then they woke me up at 5:30!!!I only thought there was one 5:30, and thats PM., so now I'm off to bed to actually sleep! :wah::wah:

Hi fuzzynavel! I'm still not posting much except for a few threads, but I'll get back in there someday. This was actually my 4th sleep study. The first 2 I never hit REM sleep cuz of some meds I was on. This time we adjusted the meds a few weeks before the study. Last night was the last one which was to find a mask and pressure I would need for the machine. Yep, apnea. ugh! :-5:-5

Have to tell you though Shell, my ex ended up with a Cpap machine and the difference in his general mood and health was remarkable. Didn't realise sleep was so important until I saw him in the mornings and he wasn't grumpy anymore, and that was only two nights on the machine. Quite frankly I was astounded:)

You going with just the nose mask or the nose and mouth mask?

I actually still have my late hubby's cpap, but it's at the wrong setting. I'm definitely going with the nose one, I don't know if I could deal with the nose and mouth one. If I don't like it, I can always try the nose/mouth one that hubby had...it's just about brand new.

Ok, update on all my crap. I should be getting my C-pap machine in the next day or two for my sleep apnea.

Had an appointment with my pain doc today, got 6 more injections, and if they help at all, in two weeks they will cauterize my nerve endings...basically burn them so they stop transmitting pain.

My docs office has the results of the echocardiogram, but are still waiting for the results of the heart monitor, then they will call me with all of the results.

I think that's it for right now.
