I wouldn't worry about it JFK's father hated the British and was removed as ambassador from the UK because of his outright hostility. The British Royal family, or some parts of it would have welcomed a Nazi victory, the Duke of Winsor got packed off to the bahamas to keep him away so he couldn't cause problems, allegedly he would have been restored as king if hitler invaded. Many thought and many still think we should just have made peace with hitler and leave europe to stew under the nazis.
At the start of WW2 the usa were not our allies, that only developed later in the war.
It's a moot point but if hitler had not declared war on the USA you wouldn't be involved in europe. But then you wouldn't have got the all the technology we gave you for supersonic jets, nuclear bombs, jet engines, radar. Not to mention ballistic missiles but that admittedly was german, Werner Von Braun escaped being tried as a war criminal, on such things does the world turn. You can point fingers at lots of people. For instance you now have the drug taking son of a nazi officer running california. Or how about Hitler didn't use chemical warfare such as Gas because he knew the British were better at it and had bigger stockpiles of the stuff. it was made clear to him early on that if he did we would use it in retaliation. There is still an islend off the west coast of scotland that is uninhabitable because that's where they tested anthrax-incidentally they came to the concluscion it wasn't worth the effort.

It's easy to judge looking back and knowing what happened but hitler had many admirers outside of germany. what naziism and race hatred would lead to was not obvious. If you really want to look in to it have a look at who funded the nazi party in the early years.
