I have tried to find a site that does a Free Winzip download, but they are all 30 days evaluation offers. I'm not mean and if ultimately I have to pay, so be it, but as I will not use this very often I have got my 'scrooge' head on.

I've got no information for ya, but some advice. I understand many viruses (viri?) are broadcast in zip files. Unzipping them "realeases" the virus. Make sure you unzip the file into a removable medium such as floppy disc, CD, or flash memory key. Never unzip an unfamiliar file onto your hard drive.

Thanks for the advice........ I've already had a 'Trojan Horse' which was pretty serious. I had to do a complete system restore and lost 18 months worth of files as I hadn't done a regular 'backup'....hard lesson learnt.
