Hi i would like to visit the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. Can anyone give me some advice about going there, what it like, best time to visit etc. Any advice would be most helpful.

I went there last year. It is an amazingly tranquil place. The water is good to drink and being full of iron, it may be beneficial too. The body discharges excess iron, so you need not be concerned if you already have enough.
The whole place has been constructed into a garden with various sections including little enclosed spots where a couple or a small group of people can sit and take in the scents and sounds. Well worth a visit.
As I recall, entrance is free but you are asked (by a sign) to make a donation. Most of the visitors that entered at the same time as me made a contribution.
There is a good bookshop there which I recommend. Covers a range of subjects from paganism and witchcraft through stuff like aromatherapy, recipes, and on to Egyptology, among other things.
The closest train station is in Bridgwater about 12 miles west of Glastonbury.
