I'm going on vacation in January to Sacramento, CA. For some reason, when I tried to post this in the "Travel and Vacation" Forum, the one directly below it "Welcome to My Day" was highlighting, too. It kept putting me into the "Welcome to My Day" thread, so here I am posting this under "General Chit-Chat."

Has anyone been to Sacramento, CA? Do you know of any neat touristy things to do while I'm there. I'm going to be there for about 10 days with family? I'd like to plan a little bit in advance.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Capital itself is beautiful, as are the mountains surrounding it. Just head for the nearest visitors bureau and get maps and have fun. :-6
