Do you love peanut butter? What creative ways do you eat peanut butter? I have a truly yummy thing I do with peanut butter. It all started one night when we needed to get some carbs into my diabetic daughter. Problem is she needed protein w/ the carbs.

The yummy solution: Magic crackers!!

In small bowl mix 3 tablespoons of peanut butter w/ 1 tablespoon of waffle syrup.

Spread mixture onto Ritz crackers and wa la!!! This is truly sinfully delicious!!

OMG LC, that sounds sooo good!! I might have to go make that right now!!

And yes Far, honey works well too! In grade school we learned a "no bake" cookie recipe that called for mixing peanut butter and honey w/ corn flakes cereal. Sounds a little over the edge, but oh god!!!! It is sooooo good. I still think waffle syrup is better for this recipe though!!

I'm fairly traditional with peanut butter. Bread with honey or choclate(sp?) or crackers.

I think I've previously posted that it makes me gag if I'm not in the mood for it.

I grew up on peanut butter & syrup! Just peanut butter in a bowl, big glob of syrup (dark Karo back in the day), stir & eat. Put it on saltines sometimes, too.

Today, it's peanut butter on ice cream, oatmeal cookies, crackers, you name it. But my favorite way is to put butter & peanut butter on hot breads: english muffins, bagels, toast, etc. MMMmmmmmmm :yh_drool.

I'm eating a bagel right now.

I am sorry Minks, but you have to draw the line at some stage. Peanut butter is a crime against humanity and its inventor should have been charged at the International Court of Human Rights in Haugue, straight after Milosovitch, I stand a proud and determined protestor against all peanut butter atrocities. Is there any one with me? If you had just one chance, one chance, to fight for your tastebuds' freedom would you rise up, or would you go back to your family and cry as they gorged themselves on Peanut Butter, Jello, and Marmite sandwiches. People, we must stand tall against such blasphemy. We have nothing to fear but peanuts themselves, ask not what you can do for your lunchbox but what it can do for us, imagine all the people living for proper condiments, ohh ohh woo woo woo. You may say I'm a dreamer, and I may also agree.

I'm with Galbally on this one,a big YUCKKK to vegemite.

I must admit to having indulged in Peanut Butter with Jam but have to say I think Nutella and swiss cheese is a tastier combo :o

I think they are very plain cracker lightly salted.

My old boss loved peanut butter and dill pickles even when she was not pregnant.

I dunno I don't like weird combo's in food too much, one of those silly persons that keeps them from touching on my dinner plate unless it is a turkey dinner of turkey, taters, stuffing and gravey then what the heck it's all good together.

Swiss cheese is food of the gods, nutella is alright, but its still a bit nutty tasting for me. There are many many ways to enjoy bread without putting those things that shall remain unnamed on it. Consider the humble bacon sandwich, that is a thing of beauty, or crumbly ham sandwiches with very strong Colemans English Mustard on them, again a gem. Then there is the classic English cucumber sandwich which is a subtle pleasure, best garnished with some aromat seasoning. From America we have the always welcome Philly Steak sandwich, which is a joy when accompanied by horseradish sauce. If you must have a sweet sandwich then toast some white bread, spread liberally with butter and lashings of homemade gooseberry and apple jam (jello), luverly! :yh_drool

Yes, exactly, one of America's most noble additions to world cuisine.
