Far rider, something tells me that whatever new levies they build will be made out of titanium, be 80 feet high, and be able to withstand everything up to and beyond thermonuclear attack. Though if they could get away with it I'm sure they would happily build them out of garbage, thats what they seem to have done first time round!

I dont think there was much concrete in the end, mostly dust and twisted metal. They did a macarbe but interesting show on the mechanics of the WTC collapse and the engineers in charge of the clean up said that very little of anything except the steel frame was recognizable as it had all been ground into powder by the massive forces involved, except, and this is unpleasant, shoes. As to the Louisiana incident, I don't know, would there have been a lot of concrete debris? Interesting I guess.

The WTC debris is a real bone of contention. It was all shipped off poste haste to China where no-one could investigate it.
I wouldn't want to be a New Yorker now since those towers had masses of asbestos in them and it all became dust to float around in the atmosphere. Did the Mayor issue any health warnings?

I have thought about it, and I have instructed the Knights Templar that you know too much. They (being all powerful) will soon have contacted mossad, who will contact the CIA, who will contact the free masons, who will contact Elvis, who will contact the ghost of John Wilkes Booth, who will call your local Garbage collection agency, your rubbish may not be collected as frequently as it was from now on. You have been warned.

This might have been the case if it were a rich white area, but unfortunately its a very poor blck area from which the govrnment make very little (if any) income. So of course they were built of garbage last time...and thats what they'll do again this time too! ...Although they might reinforce the garbage walls with bits of used chewing gum!

There was an interesting programme about this a while back. Apparently they sifted the rubble with many sieves, each of a finer grade than the grade before. When they finally used the finest grade of sieve they found many minute fragments of bone.
They then dumped the whole lot into a major landfill site!
So everything that was sifted got dumped together...including the bone fragments! If they went to all that trouble to find them...why not bury the bone fragments in a "tomb of the unknown soldier" type of tomb? Why dump it all back in landfill? The parents who had discovered this information were understandably furious, especially as they weren't even allowed access to the landfill site and had no idea exactly where their childrens remains were buried, only that they were buried in with piles of rubbish!

That is very black humour, but it is also very witty I have to admit.
