Anyone familiar with this exhibit ? Its here soon and it looks intriguing.



Throughout the ages, medical scholars and students have strived to understand how our bodies function through exploration of real human specimens. BODY WORLDS, one of the most highly attended touring exhibitions in the world, takes this tradition one step further by presenting a new look at the human body.The exhibition features almost 200 authentic human specimens, including entire bodies, individual organs and transparent body slices that have been preserved through the process of Plastination, a technique that replaces bodily fluids and fat. BODY WORLDS offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see and understand our own physiology and health and to gain new appreciation and respect for what it means to be human.

Now l find it amazing and it always grabs me.

Not only the appreciation of how wonderful our bodies are..

But lve always been drawn by it, even as a young child:-2

Our Nomad was a special guy, even though the medication made him drool and have blue funky hair... Oh or was that animal from the muppets?????

I would love to see the BODY show.. what an amazing machine we all take for granted.. the human body is to behold..

Scat, You make some excellent points the cat is a marvel your right on that score. I personally think animals are superior beings and are way more beautiful than humans. The only thing that keeps us on the top of the food chain is the size of our BRAINS..!!

Having said that, I have never see a cat open a door, or play the piano (many try but have failed) The human hand is a wonder by any standard.

Oh, us kitty people will love you.
