I really like the audition shows too. I think they remind me of when I tried out for choir in Jr. High. It was the first time I realized I couldn't sing....:o

There is a girl named Michelle from Des Moines that has gotten into the cut.I believe she could not reveal to her family after the final 75 or something, so we are uncertain if she has made it that far yet!! -but hopefully we will be watching her this season!! I saw her at Prairie Meadows in Des Moines and she was INCREDIBLE! Them corn fed Iowa girls....YA GOTTA LOVE THEM!:p

I love that show. There is so much talent and it is so funny. Although Simon gets on my nerves sometimes. I get chills sometimes with some of the singers. Who I want never wins though. LOL I can't wait.

I have to listen to karaoke for 6 hours a night, 3 nights a week. You think I'm gonna subject myself to lousy singers on PURPOSE? I'd rather listen to someone skin a live cat.

I used to go to karaoke night where one girl thought she was just the most popular thing, because everybody joined her at the mic whenever she got up to sing. Reality: she was really short & couldn't sing a lick. Her friends were saving the rest of us from her! :wah:

I thought both sets of twins did well nice voices. Tan girl made me think Matel screwed up on the SUnbathing Barbie so badly she had to be turned into a human for punishment Eeeek she sucked. Can I type sucked here, well screw it she SUCKED. Or and what about the Deputy guy in uniform singing "I shot the Sherrif" Who tells these loosers they can sing... OMG!!!!

Oh the sheriff was the best. He sang the same line over and over. Paula and Randy were just waiting there expecting him to sing the rest of the song but he still continued with the same line, and he was upset when he didn't make it!!! Oh the agony!!!!!:-1 :-1 :-1

I watched both nights. It's hard for me to watch the awful ones. I tend to embarressed for them. It's really neat though they let the cowboy from Montana through. Hubby sais he's gonna watch to see how far he goes.

Oh and what about the tan chicks mother!

My mom lives just outside of Macon too Accountable. In Lizella. Most of my mother's sisters actually all live in that same area, as does my grandmother (my mom's mom).

Anyone else watch last night. I had my favorites but laughed my butt off at the guy who used Randy and Paula's vocal dvd. You know the guy who sang that Michael Jackson song and held all those notes.

Anywhoo looking forward to tonight, from the previews looks like there's gonna be a fight.

Lord help me I've become addicted already...:-5

Yeh, they showed Randy apologize for Simon. That's insulting for a man. Simon's a putz and probably needed apologizing for, but it's still insulting.

I don't think we've met the Idol yet.

Dragonfly here. The one that got me was the LAST one. Rhonetta? She was going off on Paula. Why? I watched her like everyone else did, but I didn't see Paula say one hateful thing to her. Not like Simon did, but she went off on Paula. Oh, well, I guess that's why we watch it!
