I did in Fl. because it was a 1 state lotto. Here its multi states, odds are inconcievable. I do miss Jai Alai though, I lost a ton of money there. I guess it was my addictive personality that kept me going back.

no doubt gambling can be an addiction. but i only spend a buck a week. i have however seen one person who lost everything at the dog track in daytona, he couldn't help himself, he lost his home and family. :-1

Ive heard of a jackpot winner they found dead in a dumpster several yrs after winning. This leads me to believe money does not buy happiness. Seriously, I have no interest in being wealthy, with my personality Id probably be lethal. As for working to become rich ? No thanks, Id miss too much of the rest of life. I have no needs or extreme wants, just wanna be happy.

it would be fun to win enough to buy everyone you love a house. but if someone is a drunk for example, it would only escalate their disease i think.

I noticed at the liqour store where I sometimes buy a ticket, the guy
has a small scam going, you have to designate between the regular
lottery and the "Mega Millions". Last time I was there, he did the same
thing to the lady in front of me (she waited outside to ask me about it)
sold us both a Mega Millions when we wanted regular Super Lotto.
Suppose it might be worth a call to somebody...
I won $36 dollars once. If they gave a prize every time you got NO
numbers... I'd be a weiner!
:p
(Say, LC, whaddya gonna do with your windfall?)
:D

Yeah, well, happiness won't pay for my new Charger either. LOL
Some people try every year to get a lottery here but the Baptists are just too strong. There are always a few candidates that say they will start a lottery here but they never get elected.
Everytime we go to FL we buy several tickets. I love the thrill of it! But the most I ever won was $5.
We have some casinos here but no table games. Harrahs is coming but I don't know if they will be allowed to have table games. I heard they would. Some how they found a Federal loophole somewhere. We'll see.
