Two new rings discovered around Uranus

The Hubble Space Telescope has helped astronomers spot two more rings around Uranus and add two more moons to the planet's total. Scientists now say Uranus, a gas giant and the seventh planet from the sun, has at least 13 dusty rings.
Mark Showalter, an astronomer at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, Calif., and his colleagues made the discoveries by comparing images shot by Voyager 2 in 1986 to those taken by Hubble in 2004.
The researchers call the new moons Mab, after Queen Mab, a fairy that visits people in their dreams and is mentioned in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and Cupid, who appears in Timon of Athens.
Mab, which is 20 kilometers wide, shares its orbit with one of the rings.
The moons do not follow simple orbits but, "show complex dynamics indicating the system is unstable or chaotic," the researchers said.
Given the instability of the moons, Jack Lissauer of the NASA Ames Research Center predicts the satellites will collide with each other in the next few million years.
The rings are made of faint bands of dust from the constant erosion of larger bodies in space.
The findings appear in the Dec. 22 online edition of the journal Science.

So what about the "rocks" that were found beyond Pluto - and they are bigger than Pluto............how much larger does our solar system get.........how much do we NOT know with our technology. Ain't life grand.

we should really destroy those rocks and pluto so that there is no more debate on the size of our solar system and we can turn our minds to more important things, like finding aliens that won't invade us.
