New Year INvestments

The new year is coming & time for me to rearrange my portfolio. I'm thinking about going a bit aggressive in either Latin America or possibly jumping on Japan's bullet train that's just pulling out of the station.
If I invest Japan, it'll likely be an index fund. I already have about 2% in Toyota.
In Latin America, I was thinking of taking Jim Cramer's advice & buy VCP.
Any ideas/suggestions?
