OK, y'all know I have an extremely addictive personality, but don't worry, this isn't one of those heavy "I need help" threads. (Although you all always come through with the support any of us needs.) :-4

No, I'm talking about those addictions that come and go and change. Like right now, I've been on this kick where I can't get enough red licorice. But not ANY red licorice, it HAS to be Twizzlers Nibs.

I've been on that kick for a while and it seems to be disspiating, and changing over to my craving for Starbucks chocolate covered espresso beans. I'll eat about 9 pounds of those for a while, then the sight of them will make me nauseous, and I'll move on to something else.

So....give! What are your temporary addictions?

Can't really think of anything I'm particularly addicted to though.
Snooze, I love the dark and milk chocolate ones, but I believe white chocolate is an abomonation against anything normal and natural. Just one opinion, though! :yh_bigsmi

I get these big bags of 'em at Costco and eat them like crazy. The latest one I got has these little hot wasabi balls that make your taste buds go wild. I love when that happens!
Oooo....sounds yummy!! Do you think they'd have a similar thing at Sam's club? I don't have a Costco membership, just Sam's.

This might be addictive but it could be OCD behavior. I have an addictive personality but I also have patterns that come and go in the way I do things, which I think might be more obsessive compulsive. Or maybe theyre kinda tied in together.

I have a theory too that when you crave something its your body telling you, you have a particular definciency. If you crave oj you might be needing vit c and such. But licorice ? That would blow my theory to hell.

Hmm can't say that I have any temporary addictions, but long term ones, hell yes. Just stick some any white chocolate or Strawberry milkshakes in front of me, and it will all be gone, before you have a chance to blink! :)

Though I have noticed that recently I have become somewhat addicted to brocoli. I have no idea why, but for some reason it haas just grown on me recently. Not literally though of course ahem. :wah:

Brussel Sprouts, oh they truly are the work of the devil. You wouldn't catch me going anywhere near one, not even if u paid me to do so.

Oh and just let me be the first to correct u, before anyone else does, Brussels Sprouts are actually two words, not one. Well at least the last time I checked, however I stand to be corrected! :D

CRAVINGS????? Roasted red peppers, Chocolate of course...Honey mustard pretzel nuggets, Chocolate of course...Lox, cream cheese and red onion on a toasted bagel... Chocolate of course...Hostess cup cakes with the squiggle down the middle. They are Chocolate of course...

Nine months ago... I got serious, and lost some weight. Before that I would rip opened the stuff I craved, in the supermarket, and eat it like a wolf..while I shopped. Those cupcakes with the squiggles?? I could eat six in a day when I craved them.

Cars.... Mallomars are my all time favorite.. The best cookie ever put on this earth. Just seeing the name in writing makes me want them. 25 years ago.. pregnant with my first son.. I ate them every day with milk. They are so dangerous for me, I have to NOT bring them home. 10 years ago, when I moved to Virginia from New York, my friends used to mail them to me.. because they werent here. Do you know that many people have never heard of a MALLOMAR? Nabisco should pay me a fee for telling people about them over the years.

Right on Weeder, soon after this post I'm off to get some!!!! You're right so many people don't know what they're missing, as they never heard of "MALLOMARS", are you listening people, who are reading this, do yourself a favor, & go get some.

And your also right about how all stores don't carry them, I had to jump on our local Supermarket mgr here in FL, several times before he ordered them. And after he did, and people found out about them, he could not keep the shelves stocked with them. So when I see them there I buy 3 or 4 boxes, the heck with the others, first come first served. God helps those who help themselves. (He'd better, we need it)

Your correct about the deficiencies. Its a fact that people who crave spicy olives, pickles and red onion have sinus trouble. Which I do and I do. I eat fish chicken and vegetables for weeks and weeks. Then BAM Ill kill for a piece of steak.B12 deficency.Im sure there are many more.

Sorry weeder, now I got myself going. Going to get a few. I was told that also about the "winter" thing, (by the Nabisco delivery person) but I got some here in FL last week, it was January. Right, January is winter, but in FL is it ever really winter? (cold)
