My father was the biggest infulence in my life. I look like him and I learned just about everything I need to know about life from him. He could do anything and did it better than most. What can I say he was my hero..!! :-4

My Mama's Mom taught me dang near everthing supporting a home - I miss her - my daughter is named for her. My Father's Dad taught me about specialty cooking and being a young lady of character. I cried for 2 weeks when he died. I KNEW the only person in my life who really loved me had died - I was 13. It took me years to recover from his death. He was a man of quality and depth. Crap he taught me everything from poker and pool to fine cooking and tasteful dressing. What a man............................He loved me.

My mother was the biggest influence. She kept me in line. My granny lived with us and I loved her a lot. But mom gave me advice and she flattered me unshamedly. She whipped my butt when I needed it and she cooked three meals day at the same time every day. She raised five kids and the oldest was a doctor until he retired and my sisters were very smart, one being a legal secretary and a court stenographer and now a senators aide. My older sister works at a church but has worked in insurance and other things but I was just a mechanic as my other brother. But I enjoyed my work and my life.

Then it's so good it's not over Okie . Being "just" a mechanic was an equally worthwhile occupation

My grandma raised me off and on my entire childhood. My biological mother was more interested in guys and parties. My grandma was my stability. She had a rough life and yet she still always was giving. She was the only person I felt that loved me without judging me.
