Kwan will have a brillant career ahead of her, she is so talented. Emily Hughes was chosen as her replacement-that was nice of Michelle Kwan to drop out before she started, so someone could have the chance to skate.

I feel bad for that little lady. She is such a talent and fine example for the ice skating sport.I can't remember a time when she didn't put on a great performance on the ice.
If you folks have a few moments offer up a few good thoughts and best wishes for the little lady....she has surely earned it for the joy she has given to so many. I sure hope she bounces back and can keep her career going. :-1
Shame. Guess she'll just have to put her plans on ice

Yes it is very sad that Ms Kwan had to bow out, she has given so much to the sport. And she will still always be the champion that she has proven to be.
Anxiously looking forward to her return to the Ice!

Having a sense of humour and having a heart are not 2 mutually exclusive conditions. I think it is a shame.
In answer to your question, No, she has never done anything to me.
Am I skating on thin ice here?

I love watching Michelle skate and was looking forward to her performance. I was a bit concerned that she was trying too much too soon after her injury, so I am not surprised to see her bow out.
That was a damn good one liner though and I am sure that Michelle (who seems to be a great gal with a good sense of humor) would appreciate it for what it was.

Sometimes it's tough being a stubborn sensitive old coot. My apologies to you for even responding that way to your post. No hard feelings eh?:D
Of course not - you're ok by me Clipper
