Bar problems

A barrister at the Old Bailey was in a right state. He explained to his young assistant that he had left the office with somebody else's briefs, and that their case was being heard earlier that afternoon in a different court. The young lad has a bright idea as he passes the telex room.
"Fax everything up, Sir." He suggests.
"Yes - yes, I know it does, boy. But telling me doesn't really help!"
