Went out to get the paper this morning, here's a tag on

the door said they tried to deliver something at 3 p.m.!

I was sitting smack dab in front of the tv and heard

NOTHING, so the person couldn't have done more than lightly

tapped on the front door.

Problem is I'm all alone this week, and this is wine from

a vineyard my DH did some work for (nice thank you gift!)

and needs to be signed for in person by 21 year old.

I tracked online, I called, a whole TON of rigamarole

and NO satisfaction. Finally after almost a half hour

on the phone, I got someone to tell me it would not be

delivered today (great I can get in the shower finally!)

but tomorrow... between 8a.m. and 8 p.m.! NICE!! I have to

go to SFO tomorrow afternoon to pick up hubby. I couldn't

get these people to narrow down delivery, a phone call or

email notification of when it was leaving their facility,

nuthin'. Finally after a lot more bs, I got the person to

say it was a mistake on their part and they would deliver

Saturday.

UPS for me from here on out!

Ah yes FedEx, those wonderful folks who many times just "leave" the package (did not have to sign for it) on the front door steps, & even once on our "back deck" by the door, "without knocking or ringing the bell"! A few times when it rained the package got wet, as I was not expecting any package, & did not know it was there. We never go into the house via the front steps as we just use the garage remote opener & drive the car into the garage & enter house through door to house from garage. We just sometimes happened to stumble accross the packages on the steps, from time to time. (So around Christmas time, I just open the front door every now & then just to see if anyone sent us a package that we weren't expecting. And holy- moly Batman, sometimes there is!

Yup, they do that to us too!

My in-laws sent my son a camcorder for his birthday and they paid extra for special delivery so it would be signed for and not get lost in the post.

I found the package sitting behind the bins where anyone could have seen it and taken it... and nope, they idn't knock either! :-5

Fed-Up is a good name for them! :D

I use UPS, there's less problems and it seems easier to track important parcels.
