Once I have posted a reply, how do I get back to that thread? I see the options for previous and next thread, but how do I get back where I was?

The easiest way to navigate the forum, in my opinion, is to use the "Today's Posts" button in the top green stripe, top of the page, third button in from the left. That takes you to all the current discussions and what's been posted in most recently.
