I wanted to share this with you all....click on the link, look for 'video links' and click on 'Liel and President Clinton'. Put aside what you think of Clinton as a person and then I hope you'll get the message..:-4

The site itself is good....enjoy !

Bez, that was amazing. The moment her voice opened in the Enter screen, it brought tears to my eyes. And me an old rocker, too.:wah:

She is not only beautiful, she has the most amazing and powerful voice. Good lord, she has yet to reach her peak! Already, she is so professional for one so young. I particularly enjoyed the We Are The World clip with the children. Clinton just didn't have the panache to sing so we could hear (I don't think he knew the words anyway).

Thanks for sharing that. That's brightened up my morning on this dull cloudy day.

The poignancy of the 40 arab and 40 israeli children hit me right in the heart....still I'm an old softy and stay optimistic about world peace.

I think that Liel will do a lot to carry that message, especially for those of us who believe in one world and world peace. Will she be able to convert the others? Only time can tell. Pessimists are hard to break.

That was cool. Thanks Bez. The second page of vids has her singing with Richard Gere. Quite a different feeling, let me tell ya!

If Arab and Israeli kids can sing together, could this be something that can work elsewhere...how mammouth a task would it be? Would it be possible to organise a world wide peace day....is this just playing 'lip service'?

I saw a movie years ago, I believe it was based on a true story, in which Irish kids were taken out of their neighborhoods to America and made to live together, Catholic with Protestant. I can't remember the details.

Children are so innocent and this is lost as they grow up. The real miracle would be to get Arab and Israeli adults to sing together. Now that would be hard to accomplish.
