Why do they advertise tissues as being soft? SOFT GRIT SAND PAPER, MAYBE!!! My nose is so sore! I've got the cold from hell and I'm MISERABLE!!

Poor you Raven! Coat your nose in vaseline, not very attractive but it does help!

I have to do something! I screech everytime a hanky goes near it! I just made some soup and a hot cuppa tea.

Poor you....have a few hours in bed, put vaseline, sudacream (nappy cream) on you nose, put some eucalyptus oil on a tissue under you pillow and drink lots of non-milky drinks....forget everyone else and have some 'me' time.....the worst will soon go....

The best I have is savlon cream. It helps some. I was even reduced to having a lemsip last night! Talk about a pucker face lift! SHEESH! I have vicks vapor that I put on a hanky. I'm just being a big baby. I hate colds.

Me too! I would hate to make history by having the cold that mutates into a 'forever' kind of germ!

Raven! I have the same! I've had it for two weeks. My face...from the nose down...is slowly peeling off....lol...it has been hell! Hope you feel better soon!!!

Getting there! Got a cough now though. At least my nose can grow a new layer of skin back! It's been roughed up, thats for sure!

Hey sorry to hear about your illness Raven, I hope you are feeling better. If there is a slight upside to this, then hopefully all your nasty little ill gremlins will be long gone before the big time in May. Would be horrible if someone had to pull out because they were ill just the day before.

Oh no worries about that! It's just a cold that has gone into my chest. I'll be fine in a few.
