This came to mind tonight while I was dragging my ass through another slooooooow, boring night at work. The one sentence I LOVE to hear when at work is, "LAST CALL!!!!!" In fact other than the words "Hi Mom!", it's the best sound ever.
What words make your day?

Hmmm.....
well one i loved to hear as a kid was, "Dinner!"
one that gets me now is when Lady M -the gal i'm seeing- whispers in a sultry voice, "take me."
i got goose bumps just thinking about it.

Glad to hear things are going well with your new gal, Wolvie!!! You deserve a nice girl. Tell her if she don't treat you right, she's gonna have ME to deal with. :sneaky:
I've missed you!! We're never on at the same time anymore!

When my kids say, "I love you" to me in front of their friends. My son never hangs up the phone with me without saying it.

When my 16 year old granddaughter says or texts "I don't care what you do or what you look like or how dippy you are, you're my bestest granny and I love you to bits"
It's also lovely and makes me feel valued and cared for when someone says "God bless you."

oooooo gosh the "I love you" after ever phone call with my sweet daughters is tops for me.
The sexy "hello" at the beginning of every phone call from the man.
And "you are doing a good job" from the boss, I may be a flake but nothing at work feels better than your boss asknowledging your efforts. That makes my day.
And lastly when it finally happens generally late, the phone call from the ex saying "your money has been transfered into your account" Hehehehehe

In addition to "Hi Mom":
When my 20-month old grandson calls me "Grandma-ma"
When my husband calls and says "Hi dear".
When the priest says "May the peace of the Lord be always with you" and we respond, "And also with you".

Great stuff, all of it. I have to agree with the one, hearing my 16-year old son saying "I love you" in front of his friends, too.
Also, waking up to a hot cup of coffee, and a "Hey baby" from Bullet starts my day off nicely.

It's not so much the words that make my day, it's the actions.
I love waking up in the morning and saying good morning to my pets and they get wiggly all over. Or returning home from work and there they are happily greeting me. Sometimes, actions speak louder than words.

A couple come to my mind:
"Class dismissed for the Summer!"
and
'I Love you, Sweetie!":D
