Not in my world, no.

Its all I can do to manage my own life without trying to dictate how others live theres. Its an issue in the sense that its not the govt's business. In other words if I were King Nomad it wouldnt even be on the table...live and let live.

just wondering what you Americans think of the new civil partnership law that has just come into force over here in the UK?

I for one am proud to be a citizen of this country in that we have addressed and implemented such an exciting, important and overdue issue, and also that the UK is, for once, leading the way!! :-6

What do you guys think? Is it something that might be passed over in the US? :)
I think the gov't has it's fingers in too many pies already, & should drop out of the marriage game altogether.

How's that?

Right it is but who mandates the morality ?

My comparison is that I think govt. lobbying is filthy and immoral yet they all do it and dont want anything to change, yet they see fit to imply and regulate the populations morality. Kind of sneaky.

It's not the government's job to regulate morality. Do you really want politicians (and lobbyists) making decisions and rules regarding morality?

No but the point is if they want to regulate whom puts their penis in whom then they damned well better be above reproach themselves. (Which of course we all know is a feeble request)

the cute **** stops quickly when the gay marriage passage starts, that is an area that is above and beyond enjoyable. go to i believe its in the civil rights area, go to where a thread by Paula began, that thread is hilarious. talk about getting pissed thats the subject.
