Automatic Opening Doors In Commercial Buildings

You know the ones where you walk towards them in one of two ways.
1. Quickly and confidently knowing they will automatically open, and then you end up walking into them. Then they finally open, and you walk in looking around hoping no one saw you.
2. You walk slowly with uncertainly like some kinda zombie creature, with moments of indecision thrown in "are they gonna open". Until finally at the very last second they creak open and finally let you in. You then try to walk in like you knew they would open. (I'm # 2, especially here in FL, where they make the doors automatically open just about 2 feet before you hit them. They're trying to keep as much "Heat" out of the bulilding as possible)
SO HOW DO YOU APPROACH AUTOMATIC OPENING DOORS?
