EPT Tests: Important Question

Has anyone ever used an EPT Digital test? Have you used it in conjunction with other tests?
Here is a hypothetical situation, lets say you pee on the EPT digital test and the results are positive, then you pee on three more tests, (they are another brand and NOT digital) and the results were negative. Would you think you were pregnant?

Are they all the same Brand? What brand was the first one?
I would try doing it first thing in the morning.
Going by the three out of four negatives I would imagine that I'm probably not pregnant.
Do you want to be pregnant?

This may help:
How accurate are home pregnancy tests?
Home pregnancy tests (HPTs) are very accurate. Most brands of HPTs say they are 97% to 99% accurate, but this can vary with actual use. Each brand varies in how sensitive it is in picking up the pregnancy hormone hCG. If a test is not done correctly, it will be less accurate. And, always check the package to make sure it is not past its expiration date - if it is, it will not be accurate. Most brands of HPTs tell users to do the test again in a few days, no matter what the results.
If you use an HPT too early in your pregnancy, you may not have enough of the pregnancy hormone hCG in your urine to have a positive test result. Most HPTs will be accurate if you test yourself around the time your period is due (about 2 weeks after you ovulate, or release an egg from your ovary). You can get a negative test result if you are not pregnant or if you ovulated later than you thought you did. You may also have problems with the pregnancy, which affects the amount of hCG you have in your urine. If your HPT is negative, test yourself again within a few days to 1 week. If you keep getting a negative result and think you are pregnant, talk with a health care provider right away.
Can anything interfere with home pregnancy test results?
Most medications, both over-the-counter and prescription drugs, including birth control pills and antibiotics, should not affect the results of a home pregnancy test (such as Profasi, Pregnyl or Novarel). Only those drugs that have the pregnancy hormone hCG in them can give a false positive test result (where the test says you are pregnant when you actually are not). Drugs that have hCG in them can be used for treating infertility (not being able to get pregnant). Alcohol and illegal drugs do not affect HPT results, but you should not be using these substances if you are trying to get pregnant.

Wow, Designergal!! I've got my fingers crossed for you! I am not real familiar with the digital tests, but from what i read on the net, it seems they're no more reliable than the others but their claim for fame is the fact that they're digital, and that IS pretty cool!! You mentioned docs office cant see you until thurs., but could you go to a blood lab and just have the blood drawn? You could get results back same day! Did you know the blood test can be done w/in 48 hrs of conception? Pretty awesome!

I've only used the stick ones and they were always accurate when they showed pregnant/not pregnant. When I was pregnant it would show up instantly, I didn't even have to let it sit!
Best wishes to you!:)

The EPT's are more sensitive I think. I would test first thing in morning for a couple of mornings in a row.
I once had 3 postives though, and a dr told me I wasn't pregant.

I never felt anything like "symptoms" until 7 wks with my boys. With my girl, I woke up one morning and felt like I was seasick on a boat. I wasn't even late yet. Guess each pregnancy can b different, but at 4 wks you still may feeling nothing. Do you want to be preg?

Ok guys. I waited until this morning to take another test with 1st morning urine and it came out negative! :-1
That makes 7 negative tests and 1 positive. I have been reading about false positives on the internet and I deduce from the information given that I had a "chemical pregnancy". Thats basically the dispellation of the fertilized egg because it is abnormal and/or stopped developing.
I am keeping my Doctor's appointment for Thurs AM just to be sure. But I am REALLY DIAPPOINTED!

Yep, try for everyday if you can! I did that with #2 because I was impatient to get him here already :-4 and we were pregnant by the end of the month!
The first time I got pregnant it was almost 3 years after we got married (and not using birth control) but we weren't trying, we decided to just let it happen when it happened!
Best wishes to you!:)

Good luck Designergal, and keep trying. You will be a good mother someday. Don't ever give up. It will just take time. You will see. You will be in my prayers.

Actually, it is considered best NOT to try every day. Allow for a little
build up of the troops, so to speak...

It works, though!;)

Because the biggest thing is the egg only hangs around for 24 hours, and then she's like  "oh well" and then you've missed the cycle, another month wasted! Men are never lacking in troops, though! LOL!
