I saw the trailor for this movie, it looks very interesting, but I will probably go to check out how it represents the Mayan people and listen to the language-why didn't he name the film title in Mayan instead of Greek?

Oh, it's not on the top of my list. But since the majority of movies are pretty boring anymore, I only go once or twice a year to see anything. I would see it to critique it anyway-my daughter will cringe if I invite her to go along with me. I am notorious-when I saw Troy and it was so bad-I yelled at the end of the movie when they really blew a part of the story. My daughter had to hold my arms to keep me from jumping up in the theater. That was a horrible movie, so un-Iliad-no gods!

Brad Pitt was a wonderful Achilles-handsome, conceited, ill-fated.

The movie stunk because where were the gods? That was always the best part of the Iliad! And they made Achilles mother into some old lady strolling on the beach-she was a sea nymph, she would have been gorgeous!

Will Mel Gibson be somehow writing the English into this phase of history as the bad guys?

I did like the Lethal Weapon movies, but #16 seems a bit far fetched.

I don't know much about the Apocalypto storyline, so I don't have a comment on it.
