Most of us living in the British Isles have never met the sort of Americans who have relected George W.Bush. The majority are not inhamitants of New York or Washington, Los angles and San Franisco. They live in deep in the vast hinderland between the two coasts.

Few have ever travelled outside their own country, or even outside their own state. Many are hard-working,decent, God-fearing folk, yet they possess ideas

most of us find extraordinary, ideas about the world outside the United States and how to safeguard themselves from its perils.

They were stunned by the destruction of the Twin Towers, to a degree that we in the British Isles would not have been by a similar attack here, after living with IRA's bombs for so long and possessing parents and grandparents who experienced the Blitzs.

It is no coincidence that many of the G.W. faaithful sincerely believe that keeping an assult rifle in their *****increases their personal security.

They have allowed this presidential election campaign to be dominated by their fear, on which the Republican canididate has played the bible glory trail.

The candidate, with a timely last minute boost of Osama Bin Laden flute band to carry G.W, to glory.

And the band will play on.

It amazes me that everyone thinks a few planes crashing is big.

A neuclear bomb would have been big.

I would have thought we had a more effective system of shooting planes down.

What is sad is how inconvenienced us regular Americans are due to 9-11 over reaction.

Can't get a simple duplicate licence for driving anymore. Have to get a new issue at 3 times the price. Can't get a bank account with 4 forms of id if you don't happen to have your current drivers licence with you. You can't sleep in the parking lot of a Wal*Mart Wharehouse anymore to pick up a trucker who has been driving and driving.

Many Americans have believed that the Bible is God's word. What is sad is how the Republicans do not care about people after they have been born. Jesus did not like the Pharasies very much and I think the Pharasies would be Republicans if they were alive today in America. And some of us who believe the Bible is Gods word still did not vote for Bush. Some say 2/3 and others say 3/4 of Born again Christians voted for Bush.

Bush says he wants to help people get an education if they lose their job. Well 25% of us already have an education and what we need is a good job not some low paid retail or restraunt gig.

The Democrats need to stop killing babies so they can start helping the rest of us.

The Democrats should be the party protecting life.

Our govt is at it as well , they are trying to introduce ID cards and playing on concerns about asylum seekers to try and justify it, except most people are bright enough to realise that won't stop terrorists just make it easier to monitor ordinary people, We didn't have them during all the IRa bombings so why now? Right wing parties like the BNP are gaining ground especially in the deprived inner cities. Interestingly enough in scotland ittends to be the more extreme socialist parties that are the protest vote of choice. It says a lot when a socialist can claim the moral high ground over the labour party.

They introduced oaths of allegiance for new immigrants which is daft becsause a surprising nimber of people would not swear an oath of loyalty to the government or the crown. We elect the B$%%£Â£"! they owe allegiance to me not the other way around.

Incidentally look at your passport, UK citizen When did we become a republic :D
