She's much better, thanks. She's still in what they call a rehab facility, getting physical therapy to get her back on her feet. They wanted my beloved to stay another month, but we couldn't afford to give up our non-refundable ticket and buy another one-way ticket. So my bil and Mom's side of the family will pick up the slack.



Last night I re-read her itenerary and crap! She's coming Monday evening, not morning like I first thought. :-5 I set up a job interview for Tuesday morning! She'll be dog-tired and jetlagged, so she may just sleep till I get back. I know it'll work out, I just didn't like seeing that extra 12-hour wait.

Tomorrow I'm going to Wal-Mart to get some paper streamers and one of those paper "Welcome Home" banners made of cut-out letters (I may have to settle for "Happy Birthday" but it's the thought that counts, right?). Add one of those candles inside a decorative glass and Wal-Mart's very best Sam's Own Sparkling Grape Juice, and we're off to a romantic evening. :-4
