Hey Gang, this is my plea for help, Weeder set out a very heartfelt idea (see her I believe thread) that if as many FG members as possible donated $10 (despite your currency) we could send a little financial help to our beloved Mominiowa who is going through yet another tough time. I don't want anyone to feel obligated but I felt it needed to be announced that we are going to do this.

If you wish to donate you can contact either weeder or rapunzal or myself for my address. I will look after taking all donations in and converting them and sending whatever we get to Mominiowa.

Agreed, if anyone in the UK wants to send money to help Mom out, you can send it to me (pm me first ) and I can change it all into US Dollars at the post office and send one payment out to Minks, or you can pm Minks direct and send to her. I don't want to tell anyone how to spend their hard-earned money, but we gardeners are all lovely caring people, so if you want to help Mom out then a few pounds each will soon add up.

ahaha silly gal, sorry on the delay we are taking up a donation to send $$ to Moniniowa for her and her kids while she battles with her cancer treatments. Snooze if you want to send a cheque you can do so, I can PM you details. NO DON"T SEND CASH.

Just an update before I leave, Weeder this was a fabulous suggestion you made and we have had an overwhelming response I will gladly give a tally of what we raised when this is finished. Again this is not a telethon or fund raiser or challenge by any means it's just friends helping friends and letting friends know what we think and what we want to do. Weeder you have the best heart.

Yup, me too! It's awe-inspiring how many people are already involved! People are also saying they'll send me well-wisher cards which I'll forward to Mom. Between us we'll be able to give Mom a real boost! But she'll probably get a bigger boost from all the love and affection and good wishes that's just going to pour through her letterbox! I wish we could all be there to see her face! Bless her!

Thanks to everyone for being so very kind and not just with their physical help but with all their thoughts and prayers going out to Mom, it really makes you feel the world is a GOOD place to be. I love that FG members look out for each other like this ~ spiritually and emotionally and doing whatever they can to help out their friends. This is how the rest of the world should be!
