I know exactly what you mean!

Couldn't you get a friend of yours to say something to the boss, in passing?

Eg., Oh, I see Smart Alec won a prize for his monitoring (or whatever) idea. You do realise, of course that it was actually M's idea, and he was just repeating it?

If you let the dratsab get away with it, he'll try to do it to you again!

Especially if he gets a monetary reward, the little *rick!

well I hope in the end the truth comes out and everyone is made full aware of what exactly transpired. Sometimes these kinds of things happen because of mis-understanding or not all the facts are seen by everyone. Pity really

Snooze, I understand why you feel ticked off. My husband was a gov. employee too, and someone was always getting the cash award, for work they had initiated or completed. I remember after he was already ill for a few months they finally sent two of his cash awards they had promised a long time ago, but by then, he didn't understand they finally appreciated his hard work. And a year and half later, they still haven't replaced his position-they can't find anyone to fill it!

You wont like this much I think but my initial reaction is shhhhhh your only hurting yourself by being bitter

Another option would be to feel empathy for those that try to do you harm

Haven't a clue what you are on about although I can relate I think.

Always remember the best revenge is success, people who do things like take credit for others ideas always get their comeuppance as those under them stop working with them and propping them up sooner or later they fall on their faces

A passing rat's turd in the sewer of life-you have already spent more time thinking about him than he deserves. 12 months after he leaves or you do you wont even remember his name.

Im with Carla, and if someone has taken the credit away from you personally go to town document and get proof it was your project, job, idea, fund raiser, money saving move, etc and present it to the powers that be. If it was a co-worker who was wronged ask them about it and offer to support them and see if they are willing to work on getting the credit they are due. It won't get solved if someone doesn't bring it to the attention of the powers that be.
