Set clocks forward one hour Saturday night before going to bed. (Eastern US). Time acutally changes at 2 a.m. but it's not important enough for me to set the alarm :wah:

That was my first answer but i scrubbed it thinking it was a sort of trick question then i thought maybe this year it had been scrapped because of GBs energy policy for 2007 .Even getting the date i still thought it was a trick question - me thick

I never know until Saturday evening when it's time to change the clocks. Then I forget until the next day. hate all this pallaver and I just don't understand why it's done.

When I was a boy, I was told that it was for the farmers. But the farmers told me that they need to get out and milk the cows early in the morning and putting the clocks forward means that they have to do it in the dark just when they were gettting used to the morning light.

Then i was told that it was for schoolchildren. And that just begs the question...

In England, the actual moment of change is 01:00. GMT is the correct time, BST is one hour ahead. When the clocks go back to GMT, it's 1 o'clock for an hour.
