For 30-some years now (AHEM!) I have cooked my turkeys in the Weber bbq.

They taste marvelous, plus it frees up oven room for all the other goodies...

green bean casserole, dinner rolls, PIES, etc. and is easy for anyone to do!

Every Weber bbq comes with a recipe booklet on how to do it. I don't think

I will ever go back to the conventional method.

I also have cooked Christmas pheasant in them. Yummy.

Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!!

30 years?! Still using the same Weber?

This is a good suggestion. I wonder if we should try to do that this year. Nothing like BBQ'ing a turkey in the snow!

You should try!! With a bit of overhang, I've used them in the rain, too!

And no, *I* don't have the same one, but my Dad still has the same 40-plus

years old one and while it IS a bit funky in appearance... (wooden handle

is deteriorating on the ends) it still works. This after never being covered

or stored indoors... hot summers and below freezing winters. Should prolly

send a picture to the company!!
