I've discovered several fine bands from online recommendations.

http://www.benparkdrive.com I found online when they were playing a local club.

A gal I met when I fist came online turned me on to http://www.marillion.com I highly recommend Misplaced Childhood and Anoraknophobia by Marillion. My wife likes Anoraknophobia but dislikes Misplaced Childhood.

So I will have to chec Birdland out.

Did you discover Birdland online or offline? I have never heard of them before just as I had not heard of Marillion or Benparkdrive at one time.
