Its a Packard Bell Easynote.

I only noticed when i went to play Clancy's video thingy.

I can play cd's fine but not very loud and i've somehow lost the icon in my bar to adjust the sound,

(it looked like a speaker)

I am so confused at this.

To get icon back:

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Volume/Put tick against "place volume icon in task bar.

When it appears click on it and make sure "mute" is not ticked.

This is for Windows XP. Others might be labelled a bit different.

That's my good deed for the day!
