Always a painful decision to make but, in the end, you know when the time is.

You must have taken good care of her - 14 is a good age.

Awww, Butter, I'm so sorry about you losing your friend. It's never an easy decision to make, but her many years prove to me what a good and loving life she had. And you were with her till the very end, something a lot of people cannot bring themselves to do. What a great mom you are. :-4 :-6

lil cat is searching for pupster, he was looking at her basket then back at me & meowing loudly (he was asking - where is she)

i moved the basket, he now looks at the empty space & back at me meowing

he's searched the house high & low, been in every cupboard & keeps coming back to me meowing

if only there was a way to tell him, let him know she wont be back

Perhaps lil cat knows? Perhaps he's trying to tell you that he shares your grief? When my cat died tragically two years ago, a dear friend suggested I talk with my remaining cat...she said he would understand. I did and I think he was listening.

Anyway...big hugs and :-4
