I hate gardening and will not do it. I would rather have a root canal, chop a cord of firewood, walk five miles in a snowstorm, eat a handfull of worms, listen to 5 hours of Rap or watch 6 hours of consecutive commercials. I'm 6' 4" and gardening is just not comfortable. They don't make tools for tall people. Little people seem to really dig (ha) gardening, maybe because they are closer to the ground.

Gosh, it must be the season for you to go out in the garden!:wah:
I don't have enough time to make a decent garden, yardwork takes top priority. I am still working on my flower garden though.

LOL at 5'2" things don't improve much at the other end of the scale. Have you seen how tall rakes and spade handles are compared to me?
I dont mind planting stuff but I cant stand mowing. Mowing the grass in my garden is one of my jobs ( husband is disabled so he has a valid excuse) MP3 player must be on and I sing at the top of my voice to take the pain away lol

Hey Lon,
I used to have this problem when my kids were small and in a pushchair/buggy.
I always had to stoop slightly as we walked because the handles were never quite tall enough. When I replaced it I had to hunt for ages before finding a buggy with adjustable handles! It's ridiculous isn't it!?
My garden has gone to seed. Its covered in more weeds than grass. It would be lovely to spend a ton of money on decking and nice plants, etc, but as its a rented house I don't want to spend a lot of money (even if I had it! lol!

) just in case we have to leave at some point. So at the moment we just mow it occasionally but it would be nice to make it look really lovely as its a really big garden. Also, a lot of flats and houses overlook our garden, so it would be nice for all those with no garden to be able to enjoy a pretty garden. What should I do? Suggestions?

Can't say I really enjoy gardening either. Our back garden is a mess and besides the grass and weeds and the few trees we planted, it's not a pretty sight. Compared to my gran who loves gardening, none of our family is really into it, so that's why no-one really wants to do all the weeding, mowing etc.
