Well guys, TOMORROW is the BIG DAY!!!

The weather today is absolutely glorious!! A Mediterranean-blue sky with little puffy white clouds and just the hint of a breeze! It's a gorgeous day!

Tomorrow the forecast is for rain :-5 but hopefully they'll get it wrong again and it will be just as gorgeous as today! :-6

For anyone who hasn't left yet, please remember to guard your wallets and handbags carefully!!

London is a haven for pickpockets and petty thieves!

So WATCH OUT!!!

Can anyone think of anywhere where we could safely store all the luggage?????

Otherwise, travel safely! And if you're going via Waterloo - leave early! - there are major delays because of works on the line! Grrr!

apparently some of the tube stations have luggage storage, I can try and copy and past what bez sent me

I have been thinking about the luggage and there are 'Left Luggage' facilities at Victoria coach station and some train stations in case you didn't want to lug round London..

Left luggage (Coach station)

Why not leave your bags in a secure environment whilst you sightsee or enjoy a meal?

The tariff for use of the left luggage facility is as follows:

Up to 2 hours

Small (less than 10kg) £1.00 per item

Large (10kg to 20kg) £1.00 per item

Extra Large (over 20kg) £1.50 per item

Between 2 and 24 hours

Small (less than 10kg) £2.50 per item

Large (10kg to 20kg) £3.00 per item

Extra Large (over 20kg) £5.00 per item

Periods greater than 24 hours charged at multiples of the full 24 hour rate per item.

Stations (Train)

Excess Baggage operates baggage storage facilities at these London mainline rail stations: Victoria, Paddington, Euston, Waterloo, King's Cross, Liverpool Street and Charing Cross.

London stations opening hours are 0700-2300 Mon-Sun. All outlets are open 363 days of the year and only close on 25th and 26th December.

Charges at stations are a £5.50 per item for 24 hours, with each extra 24 hours being charged at £6.00 peritem.
