No more teabags for me.

So what's the regular way to do this?:-2

By a tea pot...put the tea leaves in the 'warmed' pot and then pour on the boiling water. Pour the tea into a cup using a tea strainer and add milk, sugar(if you like tea sweet) or if you prefer...a slice of lemon.

Personally I use tea bags...PG Pyramids.

He he...you'll be telling us your eating crumpets with BUTTER next..

Each to there own. I love Earl Grey, no milk, and Lapsang Souchong. Never tried using a microwave, but if it works for you, go with it.

I like to drink Mate'. It's a paraguayan morning tea. Anyway, I got a hold of it and I brew it with a french coffee press.

I put about 3 spoonfuls in, then pour boiling water. When the tea leaves have dropped to the bottom, I press down the strainers.

It works really well and no tea bits gets into the cup. It makes about 3 cups work and I can save the leftovers and nuke it when I want to drink it.

Dizz, my husband swears by the French Coffee press...yep stands right by it every morning and lets out a string of unmentionable words. No really, he loves it for both tea and coffee. I do not really drink either, but Rick buys whole bean coffee and grinds it fresh with each pot he makes. Right now he just uses bagged tea..but puts the bags in and the hot water. He likes it because, since I do not drink it, it makes just enough for a couple of cups for him. He has this HUGE insulated mug. In fact, he has the same press that Dizz posted
