I sure missed that small detail. That places Nihi in the Atlantic (since Paris is an hour ahead of us in which case the local time would have been 3:19).

Strange things are afoot. :D

On the other hand, I keep forgetting how this little local time clock stays current with time. thus, this means that Nihi is 9 hours behind us or 15 hours ahead of us.

Friends

Local Time: 01:27 PM

Local Date: 05-17-2006

If he posted this 2.49pm GMT and his time is 01.27 pm, he is 1 hour 22 behind the rest of us Brits,

 could come in handy on lottery night. :sneaky:

You'll observe that the local time changes with time. In ten minutes time, it will read 1:37, and so on. This confused me ages ago and it still confuses me.

The local time shows the current time in the posters actual location.

But it wouldn't surprise me french people can be arrogant bastards sometimes :)

Or, you could be in Fairbanks, or Unalaskan time.

There is, however, one place that is under the UK flag which is 9 hours behind the mainland.

Well, your time is currently 9 hours behind ours and I am in Bedford, 50 miles north of London. There's only one UK place I can find that is 9 hours behind the UK mainland.

Click on My Settings in the options at the top of the page. In the left hand pane, click on Edit Options. Scroll down the page until you come to Date and Time Options. The rest should be self explanatory.
