We are just waiting to find out, aren't we............though it's becoming plain that all those flashbacks are going to have something to do with why they're there. After all, why else should Desmond suddenly have appeared after a minute's chat with Jack in the stadium???

And I've been waiting for the black lady's husband to appear. She said he wasn't dead right at the beginning, then never appeared again. she's back and she's right.

Bet you wish you hadn't started this.

Good grief! Some folks worse than me!! I was wondering about the fat boy too. Someone else pointed out the wonderful condition of the women's hair and the lack of body and underarm hair. By now the men would have run out of usable razors surely too??

Is the Hobbit going to succumb to the drugs inside the statue of the Madonna? And what does that dog eat?

SnoozeControl wrote: Some of the eye candy doesn't hurt the ratings, I'm sure. Sawyer is yummy.:pI note here that people have said Sawyer looks quite like me except I shave better.

If it was just series 1 I'd not bother, but series 2 really does get the thing off the ground.

Should anyone be wondering what else to watch this year, the answer is The Mighty Boosh.

It'll be interesting to see how many series they can string it out for. I think I might have had enough after this one. It's natural to want a conclusion.

I could dig up a month-old corpse of a pensioner who'd burned to death and been autopsied twice and get more attractive headshots with that sort of kit than the average FG sightseer could manage after an hour propping up a London bar. It's not what you've got, Snooze, it's what you make of it.

Through that forum, I DID realize how many details I missed by not taping and reviewing the episodes. You're right about OVERanalyzations! They get so esoteric I think the writers must ROTFLTAO reading it!

Any theories on next season?

Is Henry going to turn into the new leader of both tribes?

i will confess..i watched almost all the episodes of "the lost" the firt season, but when all the other people that they ran into on the island and the good lookin arab had some radio device. I still think that was in first season, but I got really confused when all the other people showed up. i guess i will have to get the dvd's and watch it in order. some people have said that watch it regularly that i know still seem confused about what is actually going on. could they be in some time warp? i guess i will tune in.

Heard that Hurley the actor couldn't not lose weight so he will be wearing a fatsuit. I shall be looking to see the join.

Went on holiday to Oz. We were on episode 8 in UK and saw episode 19 when I was there. I think we're catching up this week.

Nobody has mentioned Bad Twin, by Gary Troup. Stepdaughter in Oz asked me to get a copy of the book to take out for her. Turns out it is supposedly written by Stephen King and holds lots of clues. At the end of one episode someone was coming up to Hurley who was holding a manuscript saying look what I found and it was titled Bad Twin. Never mentioned again. Gary Troup is an anagram of Purgatory!!!! In Oz they were having to enter competitions before they were allowed to buy the book.

The episode after where Michael reappeared ended with a bit of an eye-opener. And Sawyer was reading the Bad Twin manuscript too. I'm going to borrow the DVDs from a friend of mine who says it's easier to pick up all the clues when you watch the episodes in quick succession. I'm sure I fell asleep during some of the last bits of the episodes which finished at 11pm, after a day's work.

Does anyone besides me wonder how "Henry/now Ben" could've lived his entire life on the island and still know enough about "Wizard of Oz" to choose that name for his "character" with the newbies?

You're not the only one... I have to wonder if every detail such as this is somehow intended or just an oversight... there seems to be quite a few oversights, but... then again, perhaps they are all intended? The entire show seems to be about perception and what is real/surreal...

a colleague says the best thing to do is get the DVDs and watch the episodes one after the other, so clues are fresh in your mind and you can see which ones the writers have dug themselves into a hole with and just quietly drop!

As well as being able to link things you missed the first time.
