With Republicans in control of the Senate, Congress, and White House, does the system of checks and balances really apply or work?
Since Christmas is a religious holiday and also federal holiday is there really a seperation of church and state? Taking into consideration the whole "one nation under God" debate, the gay marriage being made illegal in some states, and the teaching of evolution being illegal in some states.
