I was thinking....tonight I have a very large party to bartend. There is a Hooters across the street from my bar, and whenever one of the girls has a birthday, they come celebrate at my bar. Also, tonight is the monthly bikini contest, so we will have a PACKED house. That's what got me to wondering: What would a male version of Hooters be called???? Where all the waiters are guys????

I was pondering this thread last evening (for lack of anything better to do) and thought of the one candy from Willy Wonka...Everlasting Gobstoppers. Not sure about Depp's Wonka, but In the Gene Wilder version of the movie, Wonka says "They are great, you can suck 'em forever"

Actually, it wasn't what we expected. The bikini contest did not get a huge turn-out, and being over-staffed we had too many girls and not enough customers. I got cut at midnight as did a waitress. That's how it always goes, though. If you're under-staffed, you get slammed, if you're prepared, then you don't have enough customers to go around. But I was alone for the first 3 hours, so I made some money. Not what I'd hoped, but I'm working all weekend, so no great loss.

Only one fight that my 81 year old boss broke up herself. Gads, but that woman is still tough as nails. Quite an impressive lady. I tried to back her up and she looked over at me and said, "Don't you have customers to deal with?" She's the coolest.
