Trees

One of my favorite trees comes into full splendour at this time of the year - the Acousa Dogwood.
Dogwoods are native to this part of Pennsylvania and we have several in our yard.
They usually come into bloom around Mothers' Day and by Memorial weekend are stunningly beautiful.
I took this picture this morning and thought you might like to share.
When the fall colors are at their best our pinoaks and chanticleer pears turn a smoky orange (the oaks) and bright red (the pears).
I'll photograph them when the time comes.
