Hi All,

We've begun working on a project that provides a meeting place for music and video fans to meet and trade / sell / or buy music and videos.

I like the concept of trading items. Have any of you done this before online? Or, does this sound interesting to you? I used to do this via local music magazine ads about 15 years ago. (Boy, time flies.)

The site will specifically focus on Music & Videos. We will most likely add books to this later on. We are filling a need for folks who have large and small collections of vinyl, tapes, cd's, dvd's, and books - but cannot sell them on places like eBay due to the excessive cost of insertion fees, gallery fees, final value fees, etc. Needless to say, you can't trade on eBay.

Thoughts or comments?

Once you have the site up and running, let me know. My brother has a huge collection of vinyls and cd's and I'm sure he might be interested. I'll pass it on to him.

Thanks, will do! It appears that most of the FG'ers are not interested in this activity. Maybe over time... :p

I might be interested, more in books than CD's, but I'd be interested in both.
