Well, I 'm not keen on Mondays anyway but this morning I had a dental appointment at 9am.

I loathe going to the dentist even though this was only for a check-up, I really have to psyche (?) myself up.

Turned up on time and was called in, Sali the dentist did the check-up and said that no treatment was necessary but that I was due a scale and polish.

She started to do this when the perishing machine blew up and everything ground to a halt.

They called in one of the other dentists but he couldn't get it started again either.

Now I have to go back again next Monday, so I shall have to go through the whole miserable process again. Perhaps it will be as well when I get so old I only have dentures to worry about!

Ouch that does sound nasty, I bet it really wasn't that nice an experience for you having the machine blow up like that. But at least nothing is wrong with you teeth, that's the important thing, and you were able to overcome all your fears the first time, I'm sure you will be able to do the same next week!! Just try and take your mind off it by thinking of something, like chocolate, works for me hahaha. :wah:
