A teacher teaches what he or she most needs to learn!
Take care,
Gordon

I disagree. I've known many teachers that loved their subject and were very learned in it.

I'm sorry about that Koan.
I was a teacher for 50 years, from kindergarten through primary school, high schools and university. I also spent many years teaching "old folks" like myself.
I have found that the best way to learn is to teach others.
Please ask a teacher how they feel about learning. Knowledge is not a finished product but an ongoing experience.
As a teacher of 50 years I have much respect and admiration for teachers.
If I have offended you, I'm sorry.
Take care,
Gordon.

I'm glad that was your intent. One liners can easily be misunderstood. I've had my share of bad teachers but the good ones are there.
If you read it blandly you might see how clarification is sometimes helpful.
