I have seen ads for the cat show. I may need to check it out. So, do they vote each other off?

I have started watching Meercat Manor on Animal Planet. It follows a group of meercats in the wild. Almost like West Side Story..different "bands' or "gangs" of meercats.. they fight over turf, and toward the end of the second episode a male Meercat from the rival "gang" hooked up with a female Meercat from the group they are following..for a little ummm..romance...and when the female got home, the alpha female from her group (also her mother) got all in her face. Interesting.
