:-6 if you enjoy snorkeling or scuba , and superb fishing, the keys are fantastic. there is wonderful fresh seafood , a tropical ambiance, key west for serious partying, but for the true flavor of the keys islamorada is perfect. the sunsets are gorgeous everywhere, and the drive down keys over the bridges is spectacular...there is essentially only one road, overseas highway, rte.1. and traffic can be bad. beginning in key largo at mm 103 (mm= mile marker) all the way to the southernmost point of America, mm 0, all addresses in the keys are found by mm. there's so much to do there outdoors, i could go on and on about this string of pearls that is the florida keys. :-6

Have I missed something??
Are you banned from snorkelling if you smoke or is that you are not allowed to smoke when you are actually snorkelling

it's a little tough to smoke while diving! LOL...the "long" seven-mile bridge offers views of the atlantic as well as the gulf of mexico simultaneously, and the colors of the waters meld in lovely profusion. if you go out on the old defunct seven-mile bridge you can see schools of fish , shark, shrimps, eagle rays, so many others. it's a popular fishing spot. and a wonderful place to see the sunset. :-6

well another chamber of commerce moment, here comes tropical storm Arlene! grrrrrrrrrrrr~~~~~~a tropical storm in the keys is pretty cool actually, like in the old movie Key Largo, palm fronds whipping around, sheets of rain, fish in the road, no power, and boats tossing around on the hook. very atmospheric.

I can vouch for this its a great place to really feel like your away. I used to keep saltwater fish and when we went diving WOW ! Absolutely unbelievable ! The 1st thing I saw was a Barracuda swimming in front of my face, we saw sharks and the reefs are one of Gods nicer touches

I absolutely love the keys. i go down the first week in august every year to go lobstering. the water is beautiful. the diving superb. there are old bomb holes in the ocean that make for interesting diving. there are some wicked looking eels that will follow you around too like ghosts. one sec. they are in your face looking at you, the next they are gone. (poof) the fishing is great!!
if you dress past shorts, halter, and flipflops , you are overdressed. i love it.

honestly, i have dove so many of them, i can't remember. the bomb holes gave me the creeps.i always imagined some gigantic creature getting me from underneath. i could zoom across em like i was a speed boat. :p
i have dove a ledge somewhere in that area. was pretty cool. it started out about thirty two feet and went almost straight down as far as i could see. we decened down it's side about eighty feet . no where near the bottom. i spent half my time surveying my backside looking for big critters that might want to eat me for a snack. :-2

In your photos ladycop, is that you?
Wow, it truly is beautiful. Is it a sea wall that your diving along, one of those where the bottom is like 100's of feet down but all the beauty is along that wall?
