My sisters partner went into hospital on Monday for some breathing problem, he had lots of blood tests etc...................then they said they would like to do a scan,

yesterday they went back for the results of the scan and he was told he has cancer of the liver.............and that they say is only the secondary cancer......they want to do another scan to see where the main cancer is.....he has been told that he has not got long to live........needless to say my sister is devastated even to talk to me........she lost her first husband, a fantastic man and human being if ever there was one,about 11 years ago.

I am so sorry to hear that redman. I'll keep you all in my thoughts.

Red, make sure she gets a second opinion. And check out Cancer Centers of America. I hear wonderful things about them. Don't let her give up on him just yet. Don't you, either. Things are advancing every day in the treatment of all types of cancer and there is ALWAYS some hope.

two weeks ago he was shopping in Marks and Spencers,at least he did not have to suffer for to long,he died at home with his head on my sisters shoulder and his daughter holding his hands
