You guys are all too much !!! Skidding away on the thin ice of the new day ain't nothing to going ass over elbow on the treacherous, slippery slope of that awful yellow coloured dairy product which forthwith will not sully my chastened lips.

Well coffee'd, I'm back in this thread

With a smile at the stuff you've all said

Nevermore will I utter

That dreaded word b****r

And I'll spread margarine on me bread

I'm sorry to say I probably haven't, Floppy! :sneaky: Or rather I started off corrupt and really haven't been uncorrupted. I'm gonna make an effort to try to appear to be a good little vegemite (at least till the dust settles) but - deep down - I'm an incurable, incorrigible, unrepentant, b****r-chomping tearaway and the only improvement you probably realistically will see is that I'm going to try and post without using the three dots (...) which bug Theia... :-6

Look at that !!!!!! An inflammatory post if ever I saw one. Well, two actually. Abbey flaunting the delicious aroma of new baked bread and what is obviously golden dairy spread.. And Theia as dotty as me... and flaunting that!!!! Sometimes only the triple dot thingie comes between the aforementioned 'good little vegemite' and murder and mayhem. But I'll try to show a little restraint.

Did you all see? Oz gets to play Italy now in the World Cup. This poses big probs for a lot of Aussies as there's trillions of people of Italian origin here. So for some it's gonna be a win win situation!

By the way Theia - I do like your signature line!

I don't write inflammatory posts, Pammie, I'm too nice...:) :yh_liar

It's Rilke...and I really wish I could practice what I sign :-5

Bez - all those misdemeanours say you're a Bad Lot!!! But hey, you're among friends!! I've never stuck vegemite in the fridge Floppy, and I have survived so far, or I think I have. Well, maybe that explains a lot.

Theia - I didn't recognise the quotation, but am a Rilke fan from way back. I'm still haunted by his poem about the caged Panther pacing up and down, with empty eyes.

I can't believe you said that, Pammie. I only discovered Rilke's Panther about a year ago, on the internet, and it reduced me to tears. You are so right, it haunts.

"It seems to him that there are a thousand bars, and, behind the bars, no world."

Sorry, I'm off topic, so... butter

OOOOH you said a filthy word, Theia. Go and wash yer mouth out instantly!!

Amazing on that poem! I can still recite most of it in German. Grin. Fruits of a misspent youth! But it does haunt me. And then the relationship between Rilke and Rodin !!!

I thought you had loads of sunshine there at the moment Abbey!! Your hemisphere kinda nicked it from us in the Deeeep South. Freezing here and bleak.

England beat Ecuador!!!

Hi Carla, Snooze, Marie, Accountable! Jimmy Carter, Accountable?? Or was it just peanuts with him?? Jelly beans flavours finally went over the top in Harry Potter - where you could get anchovy followed by doggie doings followed by snot followed by strawberry jam flavours - and the last was probably nothing like Marie's wonderful discovery.

I need coffee flavoured jbs. !!
